This holiday of remembrance marks a month since
the renovation and launch of Internet Brothers v4. We changed our focus a bit,
changed our look a lot, added a few new features here and there. Perhaps a review
of what you'll find on this site is in order, especially for all you great newcomers
who drop in every day. IB Community is
a collaborative venture for everyone. It features creative writing and Net experiences
from many popular independent web developers as well as message boards for anyone to
join in the conversations. Interaction is an integral part of shaping the future web
— make a point of helping it evolve. Interviews with pioneer
masters of web development. All these exciting and wonderful individuals have been
around on this medium since the very early days of the Mosaic browser. Relish their
recollections and experience their successes as you learn how to improve your skills
and open your mind to the exciting possibilities that await. Lucid Confusion is
my little view of life in general and the Net in particular. A daily journal, or
weblog, or whatever you want to call it — I expose myself to the frailties of
human existence and wax philosophic about whatever strikes my fancy. It won't cure
the common cold, but it is a prescription for my serenity. IB Presents — this
highly rated web award program recognizes devotion to excellence and honors
purveyors of beauty and creativity. With category awards for Design and Artistry,
effective deployment of Advanced Technology, the spirit of Helpware and Community,
and even one for the young children — we help share the vision of our legacy with

introduces you to those that have shaped and molded my web evolution. More than just
a links list, it is a tribute to exceptional individuals who are devoted to the
Internet and who exemplify community through their selfless willingness to improve
the content of this nascent medium. IB Helpware is
essentially the best of all the work done by my
brother Dave and I through the first
three generations of the Internet Brothers web site.
You will notice a different format and design. I will maintain the original look of
what came to be known as Helpware for the Cybercommunity. In this site within a site
you will find tips and tutorials written by us, and other guest authors, that will
help you get started with your own web presence. We cover the planning stages,
HTML and DHTML, layout and design, graphics editing, digital photography, desktop
publishing and site promotion. If you need a break, check out the digital travelogues
that started our web adventure or sift through a look at future technologies and
other musings. You can even learn a bit more about us. What you discover here has been in production
since early 1997. We ask a lot of questions, and even answer a few. It may leave you
in a days for daze, but isn't that the fun and pleasure of this exciting
communication vehicle? So get a full pitcher of your favorite beverage, slip into
