June is busting out all over and it means the two year anniversary for the Internet Brothers web awards — where every day is Christmas, and every night is New Year's Eve. Enough with the show tunes already.

     During this reign of dogged subjectivity we've reviewed more than 2700 applicant sites. As a result I have developed cataracts and presbyopia. I now have to wear bifocals and sunglasses and it's all your fault. Of course all the marvelous friendships and improvement of my skills are your fault too.

     I began this venture on my own in June 1998 and quickly became devoured by popularity overload. Dave and Elise came along last year to help out and kept me under control. In the past several months of this year, Lauranna has been a savior, devoting many hours of her personal time to keep this project moving forward.

     What I would like to do with the remaining space here is take the focus off the award program itself, and place it firmly where it belongs — with the award winning sites and developers. These sites have been inspirational and enlightening. They are the cream of the crop from those 2700, the top 1%. Please visit. I guarantee emotion and enrichment.
